The Grant Management Template is built for nonprofits to track all aspects of their grant applications—from submission to approval, to financial reporting.
It includes two connected boards:
Grants Overview Board (High-Level):
Track all grant applications, from “Potential” to “In Progress” to “Completed.” Add key info like due dates, status, amount requested, and amount awarded. A dashboard shows totals, breakdowns by grant type, and current statuses.
When a grant is approved, an automation creates a new board from the grant template.
Single Grant Template (Low-Level):
Each approved grant has its own board created from this template. These boards are used to track invoice submissions, approvals, and remaining budgets.
Forms are used for submitting expenses, which are automatically connected to the relevant grant board. Automations move items between groups and notify the grant lead when action is needed.
The setup uses connected boards and mirror columns to pull invoice totals into the overview board, giving a live view of what’s left in each grant.
