This template setup is built for teams that want to manage both project-level tracking and detailed task work in monday.com. It includes:
High-Level Project Board:
Track all ongoing and completed projects or clients in one place. Add project details like owner, deadlines, and status. When a project is marked as completed, it automatically moves to a different group and the project owner is notified.
You can also use the built-in action button to create a new task board for that project using the low-level task board template.
Low-Level Task Board (Template):
This is a template board that you use to generate a dedicated task board for each project or client. It includes open and completed task groups, time tracking, priority, and owner fields.
Automations help move tasks when done, pause/resume time tracking, and send reminders. Changes made to this template will apply to all future task boards created from it.
Recurring Tasks Board:
This board handles repeating tasks like monthly reports or weekly reviews. When a due date is near, a new task is created in the right board, and the next due date is updated automatically.
