Have you ever wished you could send an update on monday.com at just the right time, without having to be online to do it? Good news: now you can. With the new scheduled updates feature, you can plan your messages ahead of time and make sure your team gets them exactly when they need them.
In this quick guide, I’ll walk you through how it works. If you rather want to watch a video tutorial, click below:

How to Schedule Your Updates
Getting started is simple. First, head to the updates section of your monday.com workspace. This is where you normally write messages to your team members.
Next, write your update just like you always do. Type your question, status request, or important announcement. For example, you might write “@Danielle, what is the status of this task?” The message part works exactly the same as before.
Then, instead of clicking the regular “Update” button, look for the small dropdown arrow next to it. Click that dropdown to reveal your scheduling options.
You’ll see quick options like “Tomorrow at 9:00 AM” or “Monday at 9:00 AM.” If those don’t fit your schedule, there’s also a custom option. You can choose a specific date and time, like the 30th at 12:00 AM, and set your update to go out exactly when you want.
Managing Your Scheduled Messages
Once you schedule an update, it shows up in a new section on your screen. You can open it anytime to see all your scheduled updates in one place. Since the feature is brand new, you’ll even see a little “new” label next to it.
From there, you have a few options. You can post the update right away, make changes to it, reschedule it, or delete it altogether. It’s simple and gives you full control over when your messages go out.
This feature is perfect if you want to make sure your team sees updates at just the right time. No more worrying about people missing important info. Give it a try and see how it fits into your daily workflow!
